It's official: Camping World Stadium’s getting a wild $400 million facelift, and honestly, it’s about time. The place is about to look way less like your uncle’s outdated rec room and a lot more like a destination spot for big-time concerts and, maybe, just maybe, an NFL game or two.
Here’s the lowdown: they’re cranking the seating up to at least 65,000. That’s thanks to basically rebuilding the upper decks on both sides and slapping a new one on the north end. Not exactly a small job, but hey, go big or go home. The outside’s getting a slick new “skin” with hurricane bracing—so, you know, it’ll survive Florida’s moody weather and look sharp while doing it.

VIPs are getting pampered, too. There’ll be upgraded suites and all the bells and whistles you’d expect if you drop a tiny fortune for a fancy seat. Oh, and for the music junkies—there’s gonna be a retractable stage pocket in the south bowl. Translation: bigger concerts, wilder setups, more chances to lose your voice screaming.
Accessibility isn’t just a buzzword here—upgraded safety and accessibility features are in the works, so it won’t just be the able-bodied having all the fun. Restrooms and food spots? Getting a glow-up, finally.
And that’s just the start. They’re tossing in a 90,000-square-foot multipurpose event center, so get ready for anything from monster banquets to whatever else you can cram in there. Parking? Landscaping? Yep, those too. Plus, all the hidden stuff no one sees but everyone needs—mechanical, electrical, plumbing—getting brought into this century.
The whole thing’s getting paid for with Tourist Development Tax cash (so, thank you, tourists), and if all goes well, it’ll be ready to roll by 2027.
The goal? Make Orlando even more of a magnet for big events and, let’s be real, rake in some serious tourism bucks. Sounds like a win all around.
